A:

A bug reported and closed as “fixed” is still errant. I turn it on and it works fine, but toggling it off does not turn it off.

Original thread for bug that was fixed:

I validated that wp-config.php is being updated by devkinsta toggle to still quote the ‘true’ and ‘false’ values.

Hi @maven1129, thanks for reporting this. I will review/reproduce and bring it up with our devs!

This issue was resolved once, but apparently is back again:

I’m also seeing this in all DevKinsta sites on my local machine, using DevKinsta 2.7.0

How to reproduce:

  1. Create a new site, or pull an existing site from Kinsta to DevKinsta.
  2. Toggle the Debug mode via the DevKinsta UI
  3. Review the wp-config.php file. The boolean values are wrapped in quotes - which ironically makes “false” equal to true…

Thank you for pointing this out @philippstracker, I have brought this to the attention of our Devs.

Hi everyone, this should now be fixed again in DevKinsta 2.8.0: DevKinsta Releases (Minor) - #13 by Kevin
