How to respond to "A new version available" message

Hey, guys.

When I launch my DevKinsta, I am getting “A new version available” button prompting me to download the new version:

I run my DevKinsta on Ubuntu 20.04.

Please, correct me if I am wrong, but it seems that the only option for me to update my DevKinsta installation to this new version is to press that button, download the DevKinsta.deb pack, and install it the same way I install it initially.

Am I correct? Or are there any other options to update my DevKinsta to this new version, please?

If I am correct, will the installation of this new DevKinsta version delete my existing WordPress sites?

Hi @alex2022, thanks for reaching out!

The current update process is basically the same on all Operating Systems. You will just need to download the new version of DevKinsta and run the installer again. This will overwrite the application files without deleting any of your existing sites.
