Creating A Multisite In DevKinsta

I have imported a non multisite from kinsta to test out how multisite and WPML will work, Site downloaded fine and once i deactivated all plugins to enable multisite there was no issue.

However once I create a new sub site whithin multisite it does not work:

Hmmm… can’t reach this page

Check if there is a typo in usa.hearingaidaccessories-1.local.

  • If spelling is correct, [try running Windows Network Diagnostics](javascript:diagnoseErrors()).

Just wondering if anyone else has discovered this issue and has a solution?

Hi @Hear4U_Calendar ! I’m happy to help. The error indicates that it does not know where usa.hearingaidaccessories-1.local is located. Adding an additional domain for a multisite requires editing the local host file on your machine to include this domain.

Depending on if you’re on Windows or MacOS, we have a guide here on how to edit your local host file.

The lines you’ll need to add to the host file are:

127.0.0.1 usa.hearingaidaccessories-1.local
::1 usa.hearingaidaccessories-1.local
